Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, August 5, 2021, at St. Peterโs Catholic Church in Fullerton with Reverend David Fulton officiating. Burial will follow at Main Cemetery in Belgrade. Visitation will be 5 to 8 p.m. with an 8 p.m. rosary service Wednesday, August 4th at St. Peterโs Catholic Church. Palmer-Santin Funeral Home is serving the family. Courtney was born November 29, 1991 to Chuck and Amy (Dush) Johnson in Central City, NE. She grew up in Clarks and moved to Fullerton in the sixth grade. She graduated from Fullerton High School in 2010. After graduation, she attended Southeast Community College-Beatrice and graduated with a bachelorโs degree in teaching from York College. She taught at Centennial Elementary in Columbus and was going to start her teaching career at Spalding Academy in Spalding this fall. She was blessed with three children: Bryson George, Kason James, and Charlee Rae. Courtney lived life to the fullest. She loved her horses, barrel racing, and her dog, Josie. She also loved spending time with her brothers, family, and friends. Most of all, she loved being a mom and her pride and joy were her children. She is survived by her children, Bryson, Kason, and Charlee; her mother, Amy (Obie Robinson) Foland of Belgrade; father, Chuck Johnson of Columbus; brothers, Levi (Sydney Simacek) Foland and Luke Foland of Belgrade; grandparents, Don and Terri Dush of Clarks and Sharon Johnson of Polk; aunts and uncles, Jodi (John Brezina) Zebert of Grand Island, Brad Dush of Clarks, Nikole Palmer of Columbus, Brigit (Chris) Alexander of Silver Creek, Haley (Scott) Oakley of Wolbach, and Trevor Dush of Clarks; several cousins; and childhood friend, Alyssa Dubas. She is preceded in death by her grandfather, Rod Johnson and cousin, Chase Dush. Memorials are suggested to the family.
