How to Play and Win EuroMillions

To play EuroMillions, players select five main numbers from 1 to 50 and two Lucky Stars between 1 and 12. The overall odds of winning a prize are 1 in 13, while the odds of winning the jackpot are 1 in 139,838,160. To win the jackpot, players must match all five main numbers and both Lucky Stars drawn. There are 13 prize tiers in total, with players needing to match at least two main numbers to win a prize. For more information about the different prize tiers, visit the Prizes page.

The game has a starting jackpot of €17 million and a jackpot cap that is currently worth €250 million. The maximum prize goes up by €10 million after each time it has been won. This happened most recently in December 2023 after an Austrian player pocketed €240 million. The jackpot cap had previously been fixed at €190 million for several years before new rules were introduced in 2020 to give it the chance to increase incrementally to a possible €250 million in the future.
