In 2023, we've got to get straight to the point. This is what I mean: Consider Seatfrog's homepage. It is an app that lets you➡️Buy train tickets➡️Bid for seat upgrades➡️Swap your train timeI just copied the three main headings. Each has a two sentence explanation under it 👏. The message is clear, the branding is clear and they have raised $23 million…*chef’s kiss* . I’m sure it wasn’t clear and concise copy that got them millions of dollars. But the copy is a reflection of their confidence and clarity as a business. When you’re writing, think like a visitor. What is more impressive to you: a sharp design and concise message that is crystal clear, or a generic white/blue design with giant blocks of text? ✅The former is modern, snappy and bold. ❌The latter is out-dated, slow and bland. It’s better to give your copy more time to really nail down the message and deliver it in a power-packed bite-sized piece of text, than write in a stream-of-consciousness that reveals a lack of planning. P.S. I did not write the copy for the app mentioned above. Not associated in any way. It was just a website I came across recently and really liked. I do think there is some room for improvement though (Seatfrog, hit me up 🙈).#copywritingtips #brandidentity #branddesign #brandmessage

❌ I can't be the only person that hates looking for files on their desktop... If you're a visual person... there is a solution to your organization problems. 👇🏼I've been using this app for over 5 years called Eagle App, which enables me to locally organize all my design assets into easily accessible reference items on your computer 🗂️------------------------⭐ PDFs, Ebooks, Important Documents (any file type!)⭐ Finally organizing screenshots so you actually reference them⭐ Inspiring content? Organize it!⭐ Entire Websites, Advertising, and Competitor Analysis? Sure!⭐ WHATEVER you can think of!------------------------Collect it and throw it into the eagle app 🦅 This isn't in the cloud, all your files are locally saved (safely) on your computer for your eyes only and this just becomes your organized brain dump of ideas!📎 Think of it as more resourceful bookmarking that you'll actually reference and go back to versus your browser bookmarks you never use!Check it out and let me know what you think! If you've got something even better, let me know! What other really awesome organizational tools are out there?#Innovation #ProductivityTools #UserExperience

Today I wanted to share with you the Virtual Assistant tools I couldn't live without and use daily! Canva - I don't think I've exactly been quiet about this but I love Canva and couldn't live without this website and app!Toggl - I use Toggl on a daily basis to time track. It's so handy to have a digital calendar for tracking your time worked. You can colour code each client too which really helps. Google Calendar - I do like to time block in my calendar, I use this daily. I especially like it because you can link your calendar to Calendly so that it shows when you're busy and can't accept a discovery call. Google Keep Notes - I like to keep all of my notes in one place and Keep Notes is good for this. I write my To-do list and also keep weekly lists for all of my clients so I can keep track of everything. #virtualassistantuk #virtualassistant #virtualassistanttools

Figma reported 4 million active users in 2023. It commands a market share of over 34%. That's huge. This means that every 1 in 3 designers uses Figma to design applications. However, it takes countless iterations for a developer to develop applications that match these Figma designs. Depending on the design, it can take anywhere between a few hours to several days to develop even a single screen that perfectly matches the design. If you have ever worked with a designer, you would know complaints around the developed screens not matching the Figma designs are all too common. More often than not, teams end up making compromises with the designs in interest of delivering on time.Enter App Builder. It allows you to convert Figma designs into pixel perfect responsive applications, written in your favorite technologies, be it for the mobile or the web, in the most widely used technologies such as Swift, Kotlin, React, Flutter or React Native. All this in seconds, allowing you to deploy your application in minutes! Moreover, unlike other similar tools that do this, App builder generates human readable code with automated test cases, and allows users to add more functionality to the UI, such as making API calls, maintain local and global state, etc. App Builder can do a lot more, and we will soon make it available for Beta users. It’s been a pleasure putting together Thynkb’s new and totally refreshed website. I’m quite proud of this work – which means you need to check it out! The company saw a bright opportunity to simplify its approach to engineering and design, from the perspective of you – someone with fresh ideas but no idea how to build them. I took the company’s goals and distilled them into clear mind-maps and flows that reflect Thynkb as both a powerful modern product company and a friendly, honest collective of makers. I also developed a clean, sophisticatedbranding image (with a little nod to Apple).Thynkb now invites curious visitors down one of two paths: I have an idea for a thing I want to build, or; I have a thing built and I want to make it better. Either way, you’ll be in control, know the entire road ahead, and learn just how fun and rewarding it is to build with quality and purpose. So LinkedIn – what do you dream of building?thynkb.coSend me a DM or check out the site!
