Which Bee Should I Make Gifted First? The Ultimate Gifting Guide - 33rd Square (2024)

Hi friend! Jason here again, and today I want to provide the ultimate gifting guide to help you pick the best bees to gift in Bee Swarm Simulator. Choosing those precious few bees to gift with star treats is an important decision we all face in this game. I‘ll be sharing extensive research and personal experience to break down which gifted bees will benefit your hive the most in both the early game and end game. Let‘s dive in!

Why Gifted Bees Are So Important

First, a quick refresher on why gifted bees are important. When you use a Star Treat on a bee, two major things happen:

  1. The bee‘s base stats like attack, conversion rate, and honey production are permanently increased. For example, a gifted Tabby Bee gains +100 attack, +2% critical chance, and +20% pollen from scratch.

  2. The bee gains a powerful gifted hive bonus ability that benefits your entire hive. For example, gifted Vicious Bee grants -15% mob respawn time.

So gifting a bee makes it stronger on its own, and provides a stacking bonus that makes your whole hive stronger. That‘s why spending those star treats wisely is so crucial – gifting the RIGHT bees will get you the most value.

Prioritizing Bees to Gift in the Early Game

Here are the best bees to focus on gifting first in the early game:

1. Vicious Bee (-15% Mob Respawn Time)

Gifted Vicious should be one of the first bees you ever gift, ideally right after Tabby. Its gifted hive bonus provides -15% mob respawn time which is extremely beneficial for completing mob/kill quests faster and grinding amulets.

With a gifted Vicious Bee, mobs like Werewolves respawn in just 51 seconds instead of 60. That adds up to a lot more kills per hour! This bonus stacks additively too, so having 2 gifted Vicious bees reduces respawn to just 36 seconds.

2. Tabby Bee (500% Damage Buff)

Gifted Tabby Bee is hands down one of the best pollen collectors in the entire game thanks to its powerful gifted ability. With max Tabby Love stacks, Tabby Bee provides a whopping 500% white pollen boost to your hive.

To put this in perspective, a player with a Porcelain Port-o-Hive generates around 5,000 white pollen per second normally. But with max Tabby Love from a gifted Tabby, that jumps to 30,000 pollen per second!

Tabby‘s buff also makes it excel at boosting Blue Flower pollen. Always make Tabby Bee one of your first gifting priorities.

3. Basic Bee (2x Pollen from Tools)

This might seem like an odd choice, but gifting Basic Bee first provides a huge boost to pollen collection in the critical early stages of the game. Basic‘s gifted bonus is 2x pollen from tools, essentially doubling the pollen you collect from your Scooper, Scythe, Rake, etc.

So if you‘re generating 5,000 pollen per second with your Basic Scooper, gifted Basic Bee pushes that to 10,000 / second! This allows you to fill your backpack much faster early on. Once you have better Event/Mythic bees you can replace Basic, but the boost is huge early game.

Best Event Bees to Gift in the Mid Game

Once you have key bees like Vicious and Tabby gifted, aim to gift these powerful Event bees in the mid game:

Photon Bee (Beamstorm – 50M White Pollen + Instant Conversion)

Gifted Photon Bee grants the amazing Beamstorm ability which generates a burst of 50 million white pollen and instantly converts all your pollen to honey. This makes it an insane pollen collector and ideal for mid game white hives.

Photon has great base stats too like +100 attack, +20% movespeed, and +20% pollen from tools. Easily one of the best event bees to gift in my opinion.

Gummy Bee (+50 Goo Conversion Rate)

Gifted Gummy Bee is topped only by Tabby and Photon in my eyes. Its permanent +50 Goo Conversion bonus pairs amazingly with Gummy‘s high energy regeneration and conversion boost abilities. You‘ll be converting tons of goo to honey extremely fast!

Plus Gummy has great base stats like +100 energy cap, +25% ability rate, and +30% instant conversion. An absolute must-have gifted bee for passive honey gains.

Crimson/Cobalt Bee (Attack Buffs)

While not as important as white/blue producers, gifting Crimson and Cobalt bees will provide helpful attack bonuses and red pollen boosts for your hive in the mid game. Their abilities like Crimson‘s Roar and Cobalt‘s Bomb pollination are also very useful.

I‘d say Crimson edges out Cobalt slightly in priority, but both are worth gifting eventually if you can spare the star treats.

Prioritizing Gifted Mythic Bees in the Late Game

Once you reach the late game and acquire some Mythic Bees, these should become your top gifting priorities:

Vector Bee (100% Instant White Pollen Conversion)

Gifted Vector Bee is practically essential in late game white hives, thanks to its insane gifted ability that instantly converts 100% of your white pollen to honey.

This allows you to take full advantage of white boosts from bees like Tabby, Photon, and Diamond bees without worrying about backpack space. Vector also has great base stats like +100% pollen from tools and +100% white pollen.

Tadpole Bee (2x Pollen from Bubbles)

Tadpole gifted is amazing for boosting blue pollen, thanks to its 2x pollen from Bubbles bonus. With a gifted Tadpole, Bubbles become exponentially more powerful for collecting blue pollen and fueling abilities.

Tadpole also gets +100% blue pollen, +20% instant conversion, and +30% pollen from bees. Easily one of the best mythics to gift in blue hives.

Precise Bee (+100% Red Pollen)

To round out the trifecta, Precise gifted is incredibly powerful for red hives, with its insane +100% red pollen bonus. Red becomes the primary focus in the super late game, so Precise gifting becomes mandatory. It also gets great upgrades like +30% crit power.

For other colored hives, I‘d say Spicy is the next best gifted mythic for the blue bomb pollination. But you really can‘t go wrong gifting any mythic honestly!

Honorable Mentions

Here are a few other great gifted bees that are nice bonuses for your hive:

  • Puppy Bee – Fetch ability is great for afk honey.
  • Bumble Bee – One of the best red pollen bees in the game.
  • Shy Bee – Provides a useful blue pollen boost.
  • Diamond Bee – More white pollen is always good!

Final Tips on Gifted Bees

A few final tips to wrap up this gifting guide:

  • Having a variety of gifted bee types is ideal for stacking bonuses.

  • Focus on gifting Event and Mythic bees first since they offer the most valuable abilities.

  • Avoid gifting duplicate bees as their gifted bonus does not stack. Only boosts base stats.

  • Use star treats sparingly! It takes a ton of Royal Jelly to get more.

Let me know if you have any other questions! I‘m always happy to help break down the complex bee gifting strategy. Wishing you the highest honey harvests 🙂
