Very happy to share my latest work (and my first solo paper!), published in the Revista de Derecho Penal y Criminología (sadly, Spanish only...). In it, I reflect on different legislative developments in Spain and their impact on restorative justice, from a particularly critical perspective regarding the position adopted by the Spanish legislator in terms of prohibiting the use of restorative justice in cases of sexual and gender-based violence. I hope you can find it interesting!https://lnkd.in/eD2Nf7Ne

In a historic win, 60-year-old lawyer Alejandra Marisa Rodriguez was crowned Miss Universe for the province of Buenos Aires, becoming the first woman of her age to win such a prestigious title. A case of breaking conventions, or beauty brands eyeing the market segment of older women?Youtuber and ex Miss Barbados 2000 claimed that Miss World 2000 was rigged to let Priyanka Chopra win. In 2000 all pageants were won by Indian girls - miss world, Miss universe,Miss Asia Pacific, Mrs. World etc. Miss World pageants seem to be rigged for beauty products brand deals in a specific country. India, the Philippines, Latin America & USA are huge markets. In 1952, Miss Universe contestants’ ages were required to fall into the strict range of 18 to 28 years, they were required to be single with no children. The rules changed in 2023, the pageant ruled in 2023 that women between the ages of 18 and 73 were allowed to participate in the competition regardless of any other factor.https://lnkd.in/d37bFiBp#BeautyBrands #Segmentation

Purposeful photoshoot planning has TRANSFORMED my approach to taking pictures.I used to think that I could simply pick up my camera anytime, anywhere, and produce great pictures without preparation, but I was wrong!A few years ago, I shifted my focus towards understanding the purpose behind each photoshoot and envisioning the specific images I wanted to create. The difference in results was mind-blowing!Today, I believe I've mastered my planning, whether it’s for personal projects or client projects. Everything I learned is put into an ebook: ‘A Guide to Purposeful Photoshoot Planning!’ It includes a workbook for you to practice and master your own photoshoots. Are you interested in seeing more details?
